Tech lead who turns legacy monoliths into cloud platforms, and teams into teams that ship.
Broke an internal project management, CAPEX and forecasting tool into 5 microservices, including a custom authentication library and an asynchronous report-generation service. Released on Azure Container Apps in a private cloud with blue-green deployments, and introduced Terraform for the platform. As Scrum Master I owned the infrastructure and delegated the code rewrite across the team.
Result: releases went from every two months to every two weeks, with a faster, cached and optimized CI pipeline on Azure DevOps.
The data was too sensitive to leave the company, so I designed and built a retrieval-augmented assistant that runs entirely on premises. Documents are added manually or collected automatically from internal sources, retrieval blends keyword and semantic search, and the language model is self-hosted.
Result: live with one department of about 30 people; rollout planned to about 150 by year-end and 300+ the year after.
